Q: Why did you create CultivaTeen Roots?
A: As professionals in the educational and mental health fields, we found that parents and caregivers were seeking just as much support and guidance as the teens we were serving. We recognized that a quick phone call, a brief meeting, or a link to a resource wasn’t enough—caregivers needed more. They needed validation that their challenges were real and that they weren’t alone. They needed guidance in understanding how their own life experiences have shaped their parenting. And they needed flexible, practical tools to navigate the complexities of raising adolescents.
CultivaTeen Roots was created to meet these needs. More than just a resource hub, it is an online platform designed to foster connection, shared learning, and growth through expert guidance. Our mission is to empower parents of teens with the insights, strategies, and support they need to raise confident, independent, and emotionally healthy adults—together.
